This is an email spam sent out by one of Malaysia's .MY domain registrar to some of the web designer's in Malaysia.
This case is reported with evidence forwarded. This is an invitation to the designer to become their reseller. Instead of being honest with a business proposal, words are twisted - a clear sign of dishonesty with hidden agenda?
Screens shot of the email is published and you be the judge.
Email receipient is greet as "Dear reseller" and in actual fact the web designer claimed he don't even know this company exist.
A reseller sign up link for people to sign up as reseller is attached in the email. Upon googling for their domain name, I found this:
DomainRegistry.my – Example of Ultimate Malaysian Bodohness
The truth is, I'm not sure this is one classic bodohness in business or Malaysian businesses still think spamming works or just plainly taking advantage of weak cyberlaw drafting and enforcing in Malaysia.
What's your thought. Malaysia Boleh... ka?
