A reply from the management of Quattro, The Opera, The Sanctuary, The Library

Well dear all victims, weak citizens, lamb, kambing, ikan bilis and sheeps.

Finally, after a period of sufferings finally there is one respondent that's taking action to improves their broadcasting effort. If you've been receiving SMS spam from them, at least you can find your way out now.  Bearing in mind there are also people who wanted this promotion SMS as well.

Here is a replied from the management of these F&B outlets.

Dear sir,
First and foremost, kindly allow me to introduce ourselves. We are the management company that manages several F&B outlets in Klang Valley, namely Quattro, the Opera, the Library and the Sanctuary.

We have been made well aware of this blog recently, and we would like to extend our sincere apology for any inconveniences and displeasure caused by our promotional SMS broadcasts. It has never been our intention to cause such unpleasantness and helplessness amongst mobile users with our service.

Based on the feedback that we gathered, we certainly could not agree more that such information should only be sent out to parties who have genuine interest to receive them. For your knowledge, we have begun initiatives to research for ways to improve our service. Needless to say, the first thing that we will immediately focus on is to filtrate our database and ensure that all communication on our promotions and events will only be broadcast to interested patrons.

To get things started, we have created a channel to communicate directly with us, by emailing us at feedback@aum.my. Patrons are now able to provide us with any mobile numbers they would like us to remove from our database, and we will immediately do so. For those who prefer to only receive our event updates and not our promotions (or vice versa), they could also specify their preference in their emails to us. In addition to that, we have also included 'opt out' options on our SMS broadcasts.

We would like to once again offer our sincere apology for causing such displeasure. We hope that, through our coming initiatives and improved communication with our patrons, we will succeed in making things better for all concerned.
